Cherrybrook Get Ready Weekend - September 21
Get Ready Weekend is held each year by the NSW Rural Fire Service with the aim of engaging and preparing our community together for the upcoming bush fire season.
This year Cherrybrook Brigade will be hosting our Get Ready Day at our station, please see below for more information.
You can also get an early start by talking with your family and creating a Bush Fire Plan.
When: Sunday September 21, from 11am until 2pm
Where: Cherrybrook Rural Fire Station - 58-62 Shepherds Drive, Cherrybrook
What to expect: Speak to firefighters about how to prepare your home, property and family for a bush fire threat, climb through and sit in a fire truck, and enjoy a sausage sizzle. And importantly, take home a Bush Fire Survival Plan to start preparing over the weekend.
